SZGY messaged me at night, that the Budapest sonde landed nearby. The prediction showed that it will land more far away, so I've turned off my computer for night. Fortunately, he had a good coordinate, so in the morning, I drove to the scene - it took only 15 minutes.
The field was easily approachable by car, and the sonde with the remains of the balloon was lying on a field, just a few dozens of meters from a weekend house.
While I was walking down to the impact site, two puppies were running to me from a hole under the fence. They were friendly, so I've waited them, gave them a "hello-pet", and let them run away. They've checked my car, and returned. I showed them the balloon, they've smelled it, and followed me back to the car. Then I said hello them, and drove home safely.
